In an effort to keep my legal bills in check (sorry Heidi, Jeffrey, I love you but…) I’ve found a few online resources with plenty of examples to study as a basis for legal draftsmanship. Tech Agreements and Onecle both provide access to the actual agreements used in over 500,000 transactions covering many different industries and fields of law. They’re indexed by company, too. Need general legal guidance? There’s the long-time independent agent/freelancer’s best legal friend, Nolo Press, who publish a comprehensive set of legal forms and kits for individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses.
